Starting from the village of Holford Green on the Eastern edge of the Quantocks mountains in West Somerset. The distance was 7.5 miles traversing from east to West across the Quantocks and back.
The route was either uphill or downhill. Conditions were lovely with brilliant sunshine, no wind but with 3" of snow on the ground.
Paula Isaac finished as first lady in 16th position and 68 minutes. Simon Oliver scraped in only 5 seconds ahead of Paula in 15th place.
There were 31 runners and the winning time was 52 mins. The entry fee was a meagre £3! This was excellent value for Simon as he ate £4 of cakes at the finish!
