On the evening of Sat 16th July, Teignbridge Trotters held the 26th Dartmoor  'Haytor Heller' race. The course is entirely off road over turf, heather, bracken and boulders, covering the hills around Haytor Rocks. A lot of the race is over the route and remaining trackbed of the old granite railway. The rails of the railway were made of granite and many still exist. On a beautiful sunny and breezy evening Simon Oliver finished in 51st place out of 250 runners with a time of 53.13.

This race is fab and well worth taking part in.
