Just to let you know I ran in the Bere Pen 10k which was the first race organized by Bere Alston Trekkers. The first 5K was nearly all down hill followed by a short run beside the river Tamar and then the second 5K was all uphill back to the finish in Bere Alston. Not ideal but race was well marshalled and when I could look up on appeared to be quite scenic. Managed to finish 3rd overall in a time of 38.39, there were 132 finishers
